Abbas Mustafa Sadeq received his Ph.D. from Umm Durman University in Sudan in 2002 and his dissertation dealt with Arab journalism on the internet". He is a researcher and a specialized media professor of the new media applications and the recipient of the British Thompson and Dag Hammareskjold fellowships from the United Nations.
Mr. Sadeq is currently working at Abu Dhabi Television. He worked previously as a journalist and taught journalism at Khartoum and Islamic Umm Durman Universities and Sudan Academy for Communication and Media Training Sciences.
Mr. Sadeq has published several scientific writings in the field of his specialization, the most prominent of which is the book of: Internet Journalism: Rules of Network Journalistic E-Publishing (Abu Dhabi: Al Dhafra Printing & Publishing House, 2003); Journalism and the Computer: An Approach to Journalistic Research with the Aid of Computer (Beirut: Arab House for Sciences, 2005).
